Discharge

Your discharge from the Centre will be coordinated in conjunction with the medical team.

On the day of your discharge, after the ward round, please go to:

  • the admissions office on the 6th floor, where you can collect your administrative file and also settle any charges from 11 am onwards.
  • the medical secretaries' office on the 2nd floor, where you will be given your medical file from 11.30 am onwards.

For discharges on Sundays and Bank Holidays:

  • You may collect your administrative file and settle outstanding charges the day before your discharge between 2 pm and 4.30 pm.
  • You medical file will be given to you by the duty doctor on the day of your discharge.

European Health Insurance Card or E106, E109, E111, E112, E121 forms, subject to the Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie of Alpes-Maritimes checking that you are entitled to be reimbursed for your hospital stay daily charge

No medical insurance or if you are a private patient expenses incurred in excess of initial payment made on admission

During your stay, the following services must be paid for as and when you use them:

  • Meals of visitors taken at the self-service restaurant.
  • Refreshments taken at the restaurant.
  • Hairdressing and beautician expenses incurred during your stay. These must be fully paid directly to the professional.

On the day of your discharge, the following must be settled:

  • Telephone bill.
  • Bill for magazines and newspapers that you have requested (kiosk prices, no supplement).

Prior to your discharge, also remember:

  • To retrieve valuables from the safe by presenting your receipt at the accountant's office. This office is open from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm.
  • To hand in your discharge questionnaire to the Reception.
  • To indicate to the medical staff your planned means of transport on discharge. If family members or friends are unavailable to meet you, our staff can inform you of alternative means of transport.

Your discharge date will be decided by the medical staff. If you wish to leave against medical advice, you must complete a form releasing the Centre of any responsibility.

Furthermore, during your stay, please do not leave the Centre without a doctor's consent.

Private rooms:

During your stay in a private room, meals and accommodation for the person accompanying you are included in the applicable package price.

Your visitors and your accompanying person must pay for any meals and drinks they may take at the restaurant or any other personal expenses as and when they arise.
