This specialty has undergone significant development over the past 30 years and enables the treatment of cardiac and vascular conditions through non-invasive procedures.
Explanations from Dr. Camille Wehrlin and Dr. Laurent Drogoul, interventional cardiologists at the Monaco Cardio-Thoracic Center.
Wednesday, 16 July 2025, Siemens Healthineers and the Monaco Cardio-Thoracic Centre (CCM) signed a 5-year renewal of their research partnership, which has been in place for 15 years.
This collaboration covers all the CCM’s areas of expertise, in particular imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound, angiography) and AI.
The main aim of this strategic collaboration is to implement and develop innovative multimodal cardiovascular imaging solutions, which today play a decisive role in diagnosis, therapeutic choices and the efficient improvement of patient care.
A very beautiful reward for the Center, the only establishment in Monaco to compete during this 2025 Festival, initiated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nice Côte d’Azur.
An important and unanimous recognition of the expertise, the kindness of the CCM teams and technological innovation. The Clap Festival aims to promote the human values of Azurean companies and highlight their commitment. This year, 16 companies were selected for their creative short films and 5 prizes were awarded by a jury mobilized to distinguish the inventiveness, authenticity and impact of the messages brought to the screen.
Our film, directed by Nicolas Fogliarini, from the RR3 FILMS agency, has therefore seduced the jury and the public of this Festival, with the story it tells… a true, moving story, where there is no actor, just the ‘real’ patient and the real medical teams of the Center mobilized to save a life.
This year, the World Health Day is dedicated to maternal and newborn health, supported by the WHO :
“Good health at birth for a hopeful future”.
A major issue that the cardio-pediatrics department addresses on a daily basis. Screening, diagnosis, therapeutics and medico-surgical and interventional management, the identification of genetic factors of congenital heart disease are at the heart of his daily actions.
Professor Sylvie DI FILIPPO has chosen to intervene on the social networks of the Center, in 3 distinct themes (click on the titles to access the videos):
Informative sequences for a good cardiovascular health throughout life.
