The Cardio Thoracic Center took part in the 8th edition of the MLCTO

The CCM took part in the 8th edition of the Multi Level CTO Course from 29 June to 1 July, being one of the healthcare establishments selected to stage live cases.

During the 3 days of this international congress, 4 live cases were performed at the CCM, enabling interventional cardiologists to follow real cases live during the practical lectures of the CTO (total chronic coronary occlusion) course, organised in levels of increasing complexity and in different sessions with specific subjects.

The treatment of CTO by recanalisation of chronic total coronary occlusions has become an essential procedure, and a fast-growing and constantly evolving discipline. Mastering CTO techniques is now essential for managing complex coronary patients.

The CCM takes part in Monaco’s first Heart Day

At the initiative of the Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco association (FLMM), chaired by Chantal Ravera, the first Heart Day was held on April 25th at the Théâtre Princesse Grace, devoted to cardiovascular diseases affecting women. This is a public health issue to which the Association has long been committed, notably through particularly relevant prevention campaigns.

The event brought together an exceptional line-up of doctors and surgeons to discuss a range of issues relating to cardiovascular disease in women. Dr Armand Eker, from the Cardio-Thoracic Centre, was the moderator for this important day, and helped to draw up the programmed alongside Mrs Ravera.  For several years now, the CCM has been an active and committed partner in this campaign, providing its expertise in the management of cardiovascular pathologies, in particular in women.

The CCM mobilised for the European Week for Waste Reduction

Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed!

From 19 to 24 November, a textile collection was organised within the CCM. Everyone actively participated and about 400 kg of clothes were collected. This generous mobilisation enabled us to help the most disadvantaged, as the clothes were given to the Association Semeurs d’Espoir Monaco.

The CCM’s restaurant chef and his team also took part in the EWWR by concocting a “zero waste” menu based on products destined to be thrown away.

This is an important commitment for the Centre, which has also been a signatory of the National Pact for Energy Transition since 2018.

How can we help you?
